Getting ready for Christmas

"Let us not spend Christmas … but let us keep Christmas in our hearts and in our lives"
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
There are many people mailing clothing and toys to the children of Chuuk.  Elder Allen's parents and his sweet sister Kenzie have mailed a bunch of baby clothes and small children clothes for the kids.
Elders Selander and Allan with our sweet Tanya

Tanya was tired of wearing her tutu so grandma put it on her head.
We believe the Savior is telling us that unless we lose ourselves in service to others, there is little purpose to our own lives. Those who live only for themselves eventually shrivel up and figuratively lose their lives, while those who lose themselves in service to others grow and flourish and in effect save their lives.  This Christmas season will have greater meaning as we seek to follow His example and live His teachings.
