A hard day out doing Missionary work

President Mackey, Sister Tiffany, Elders Johnson and Meldrum along with a couple of local children.  We have walked over the hill and thru the jungle, sweating and laughing a long the way.

“For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; But if they would not repent they must suffer even as I” (Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-
17).
Through personal experiences we have learned that as we draw closer to Heavenly Father and to His Son when life’s inevitable challenges and difficulties come they will draw very near to us. They will ease our burdens and bring peace, comfort and perspective. They ‘will not leave us comfortless’, they ‘will come unto us’.
May we ever remember and understand that we need not suffer if we would constantly repent and come unto the Saviour of the World. We testify of Jesus Christ. He is the Saviour and Redeemer of all mankind. We know that our Redeemer lives.
