We love our class

It has been about 6 months since our last class party. The class has been doing well and most of the people in the English class were also in the Temple Prep classes. We have covered a lot of English this past year and have seen them progress a lot. Because their potential for good is so great and their gifts so diverse, they may find themselves in roles that vary with their circumstances in life.
Five members of the class are also on the Translation team and one of them is the Seminary teacher and another just took a call to become the Institute teacher. One is the Relief Society President, four are endowed, and 10 are waiting to be interviewed to go to the temple. The young adults in this class know how important it is to know English and are waiting for acceptance letters for college. They are very good leaders even if they still call it "merican"
We played a couple of games of English Bingo and also the cookie game. We looked at pictures on the Ipad and enjoyed having fun all together. Everyone brought something to share for eating. We had fish, rice, cooked banana's and cake. What a party! Plenty of laughing tonight.
We teach them that they are an essential part of our Heavenly Father’s plan for eternal happiness. We teach them and help them understand they are endowed with a divine birthright. They are the real builders of their nation. It is important to build strong homes to make life sweet and to give contentment to the heart that brings salvation.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). There are no better words than His to express our testimony. Our Heavenly Father has declared to the world that by following the path of Christ, emulating His example, and obeying His revealed truths, we can obtain true happiness in this life.
