Islands Friends

These are our friends Bill and Kiki Stinnett, they are two of the movers and shakers here in Chuuk.

They own the Truk Stop Hotel where we live. Bill and his daughters Melba and Corky take care of everything with the businesses. Bill says he is not a business man, although he owns and runs many different leading businesses here in Chuuk.  No man succeeds without a good woman behind him. Christine "Kiki", is his wife and the mother of the girls, he is thrice blessed indeed.  Their son lives in Guam and he is the proud papa of William IV, their newborn grandson. She is also the President of the Chuuk Women's Council  in the Federated States of Micronesia. She is an amazing and diligent women. The leadership that she teaches the ladies here and throughout Micronesia is a wonderful blessing for these people. She has created many different ways to teach them and empower them to progress.  We have been blessed to get to know this couple and become friends with them. They took us under their wing and made us feel like part of the family here at the Truk Stop.  We have great respect for them and look forward to them coming to the states to visit us.
