"Chuukese Taxi"

This is one of the Chuukese taxi's and a way to get around here on the island. $1.00 one way. I suppose it could be a lot of fun :) We DON'T have any plans to try it out and let you know. It looks way to hot for us!

Elder Johnson had his parents riding in a taxi like this with 40 other people while they were here picking him up. I guess he wanted to give them the full Chuukese experience. Not that he ever took the taxi, he drove a truck with air conditioning when he served in Chuuk.
