These are the wrecks of Patta. Kinda eerie.

Articles of Faith 1

We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

Wreckage is even beautiful

Left over wreckage in the lagoon. We thought this one was pretty cool because it's so close to shore and the jungle is growing all over it.

A ship left in the lagoon for divers hundreds are left to go dive

Everywhere you look it's paradise...

Through the mangroves and into the other side of Paradise.

Mangrove Highway

Mangrove highway > this is so great, you should check it out on Google Earth and see how thick the mangroves are here. Check out Chuuk Lagoon, island Patta in the middle of the pacific ocean.

PARADISE IN THE PACIFIC

"PARADISE" Some places in the water look like the pods from the movie "Cacoon"

A slice of Heaven "Patta"

And here we are hot, sweating and still loving life... This island is so beautiful it is amazing. NO cars just nice paths to walk on. NOTHING dangerous on the island. It is a small slice of HEAVEN. It's only hot when you stand still so please take the picture and lets get going.
We believe we are all part of one heavenly family, so missionary work isn't work so much as it is trying to help out our brothers and sisters.

Branch President of Patta

This is President Robi and his family. What lovely people they are. We had such a great day working with him and getting to know him a little. The island is beautiful and we think they should transfer us there. There is virtually no chance of that happening because we are very attached to our computer and other devices. Sure does look nice though.

Village chief and beautiful bride

This is Elder Enrich's family, they are such lovely people. Normally when you go out and meet the members you are greeted with some local food or drink. Our past experiences have been it don't taste very good > but today when we arrived at the house 3 men were out making breadfruit. After visiting a few minutes we were offered some. It was very well prepared and tasted good. Elder Tiffany was handed a big leaf to use for a plate, but he thought the leaf was given to him to fan himself because it was hot. Funny how you "live and learn" no one said anything and was very polite to us. After awhile you have to wonder if they think you've gone daft, and we're off to the next learning experience. We had a wonderful visit with the family and the Elders introduced us to their new investigator here with her son.
Elder Tiffany with Elder Enrich's family. The older gentlemen is the chief of the village. What a lovely man he was to speak with.

Patta's newest member

This is Elder Enrich he is the newest member of the church on Patta. He was baptized in January and also given the priesthood recently. The beautiful baby is his son. Don't you just love that hair. He is only 4 months old.

Divine President Authority in action

Elder Malit and Elder Sofele are on this island for a few weeks while their house is being worked on, on a different island called "Romanum". Elder Malit is giving the native Chuukese sign when getting your picture taken. Elder Malit will be leaving on the next transfer and Elder Sofele has only been here for one transfer.
The Elders and Branch Presidency ready to do some work. What a good looking bunch of men and on such a beautiful island.

Missionary work is about enjoying what your doing...

This is a picture of traveling inside through the mangroves by boat.
Patta's Branch President Sam Robi, Elder Sofele and Elder Malit. Missionary work is about always enjoying what your doing.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Patta

This is the church on the outer island named "Patta". This island is beautiful there is a branch on this island but it is very small and we have no missionaries here it is connected to another island called "Tol" by a lot of Mangrove tree's.
